Protesters demand Berlin’s Russian house be shut down in march against fascism

Dozens of protesters gathered outside Russisches Haus in Berlin, on Thursday, demanding the cultural center be shut down. “Russisches House is a home for the AfD, for the classic nexus we talk about, red-brown, Putin encouraging extreme-right organizations and funding them all over the world,” said Mary Killian from the Organization For the Right to Resist. “It’s actually run by a sanctioned organization. It’s part of the Kremlin. It’s part of the center of the Russian government. It should’ve been closed a long time ago.” The protesters marched to the Russian embassy where they held more speeches against authoritarian governments including Russia, Iran and Poland.
